CHROMIUM VS CHROME ARCH OFFLINE
When I go to actually open the Chrome Remote Desktop app, it opens and shows my laptop there, but it's just always Offline no matter what. # exec classic gnome-session -session gnome-classicĮxport $(dbus-launch) was already un-commented by default so I assumed it was supposed to be that way # Remove the # and select ctrl-X to finish. My /home/user/.chrome-remote-desktop-session file looks like this: # You will have to uncomment one of the following lines for CRD to work I haven't found anything useful from Googling this error message, and if I try to vim the supposed tmp logfile, it just shows me a blank file Please check log to determine host status. Daemon process started in the background, logging to '/tmp/chrome_remote_desktop_20190404_103325_sqG4U9'
I installed chrome-remote-desktop from the AUR, went through the installation process as directed by the package installation:ġ) ran crd -setup as normal user, although it did prompt for sudoĢ) enabled remote access by going to chrome://apps, starting CRD, and enabling the Arch laptop and assigning a PINģ) I've tried both with and without systemctl -user chrome-remote-desktop, same result either wayĤ) Set resolution to 1366x768, laptop's native resolutionĥ) ran crd -start after completing all the other setup steps, but I am getting this error message (which I'm pretty sure is the root problem): crd -start I'd like to get chrome-remote-desktop working on the Arch laptop. I have a Windows desktop and an Arch laptop.
